Automatically become free/active user

Why are all users forced to go through a 2-step set up when they download a free version of the app?!?!? First impressions are everything and they should have access to everything in the free version of the app upon download and sign/up. It took me weeks to discover 90% of my users were inactive (AND ALREADY DELETED THE APP) because they didn't have access to things. I have NEVER downloaded a free app and then not had access to the free content. The process is confusing and convoluted and sets us up for failure. Wasn't this tested before you rolled out your platform?! So confused... it's honestly a no brainer.

I don't know this... thanks for sharing!! As this is a BIGGG GAP in getting clients attached to your app and actually able to use the free content offered, so they directly develop a good relationship with the app.
I think this is one of the things which needs fixing rather sooner than later, as it is a cap in the client funnel.

How is this not a standard? The more "suggestions" I see, the more I realize no one on the coding team USES the software. Or they hastily built it to be bare bones without actual user testing, and went "Welp, good enough!"
1) I had NO idea users weren't getting access instantly (WTF?!)
2) You can't make drafts of lessons (so I haven't put new content up because I have ADHD and doing it in 50 steps to make sure I HAVE EVERYTHING, is stressful and stupid)
3) You can't delete users...again WTF?
4) I have zero font editing capabilities, let alone design abilities.
5) Titles of audios do not show up, why?
There's a laundry list more of foundational, basic and extremely important aspects that do not exist...so. That's fun.

Agree that this needs to be updated. I had an influx of subscribers the other day after I had a speaking gig and I had to sit there and manually activate all these people because I didn’t realize it wasn’t automatic. IT’s too much for a user to do when all other apps are on auto. Would love to see this updated promptly. Thank you so much for all the effort!

Same. I lose subscribers within the week they sign up because of the 2step opt-in for the free content. Please change this asap! Time is of the essence!

I am also having this problem. A good solution might be to show the discover page as the first thing when they download the app. Then they can choose the free or paid option then sign up. I too have many users who don’t understand that after signing up that they need to go back to the discover page and choose a category. Which is a really stupid and illogical flow. FIX THIS!!!!!
