Change webapp address
Andrea Marco Ricci
Have the possibility to change the domain name of the website app. xxx.myname.com (in my own domain) instead of myname.passion.io...(link....)

Alex Karales, thank you for sharing your input!
I have merged your comment to this post.
I will keep you up to date with any changes or news about allowing you to change the sub domain to your already existing URL!

Maggie Escobedo Alvaro Salazar Hi friends, any updates on this?? It is not a white labeled experience without the ability to use our own domain. If you can provide an update, that would be great! Thanks

To fully brand my course it would be great to be able to have a white label url and remove passion.io

This should reeeeally be implemented. The App is not 'white label' with a .passion.io domain. And it really is not that complicated to implement either. 🙏

Please make this happen. I was sold on the fact that the app was fully white labelled, and was surprised when I couldn't point to my domain. I likely won't be using the web capabilities until it's fixed, but am a little sad upon jumping into the year subscription that it's not a possibility yet.

Hi Maggie Escobedo and Alvaro Salazar, do you have any updates about this request? Looks like this goes back 2 years! My new customers are confused about the passion branding in the URL. I would really like to use my own URL to make it a true white labeled experience. Hopefully this isn't a feature that's too difficult to add in. Thanks so much for all you do!
Maggie Escobedo
Nicole Mixdorf: Hi Nicole! Thanks for reaching out. So sorry to hear this is generating confusion for your new customers.
We are currently prioritizing some features that have been highly requested, like editing courses from your mobile, carousel-style view of courses, video player improvements.
This feature is planned for further down the road, but we will keep you posted once we have an update about this request!

Maggie Escobedo: imho customer facing improvements should always be prioritised over something like 'editing courses from your mobile' which is simply a convenience for app creators, who are too lazy to open up their laptop 😬

How do we not have this yet?
I’d argue that the offer of a ‘fully white labelled web app’ in the new year sale is very misleading if the app is accessed via the brand of another company.
As many have said already, and as 1 of many who I suspect have built and launched their own SaaS products, adding custom cname functionality is not a difficult feature for engineers to add. As a user story, it wouldnt be ticketed at over 20hours on the scrum board for a build like Passion.
So could we please get an ETA or some transparency on why the engineers in Passion are struggling with it?
Also, as you’re advertising to UK consumers, Id recommend updating your own Clickfunnels pages in the meantime to avoid falling foul of consumer advertising protections over here. You arent allowed to front-load sell on a products feature and then tell the user after payment ‘that feature is actually coming soon’ so you should clarify that your web app is NOT white labelled. People wouldn’t mind, but being sold and then mislead on a feature that is ‘a given on Day 1’ in most SaaS and seems to be nearly 2 years requested on yoor canny page with zero engineer input or transparency is putting a bad taste in a few peoples mouths it seems.
Less time building “62hrs of included video courses worth $263,361” and more time building the product you’ve already sold please :)

For now all we can do is redirect from your own domain name to {name}.passion.io that’s the closest we are going to get until they figure out how to get this ball rolling

This has to be the number 1 request, the non custom address looks really unprofessional and oeople think it looks like a different business.
