Make it so course thumbnail image does NOT appear at the top of the course itself
complete

Currently the image used for a thumbnail automatically shows up inside that course or lesson at the top.
I think for most of us we are using a thumbnail image that is designed to be small and simple, so enlarging it and putting it front and center at the beginning of the content is a bit of an eye sore. I'd rather have the thumbnails be their own thing and we can choose what to put inside for the content, rather than the thumbnail image copying over.

Hi all! Thanks for the feedback!
The thumbnail image that was shown at the top of the lesson content/page has been removed.
If you would like to add an image at the top of a lesson page you can still do it by using the image widget.

Maggie Escobedo: Hello dear Maggie, this sounds great! But when I add the icon in my app, it's still shown at the top of the lesson page. What to do? Do I need to update anything?

yeah, this is obviously a big mistake. It basically means that for now I cannot use the thumbnails feature and have to resort back to the 'book' symbol...
PLEASE Passion, fix this ASAP?

Hey all, I reported this "bug" to the technical team and was advised that this is an intentional feature! As content creators, we should decide how to structure our lessons within our own apps, and not be forced to have an image at the top of each lesson that can't be edited. If we want the thumbnail image at the top, we can easily add that image in manually by choosing an image widget. For those of us with video content, it makes no sense to have an image above the video, pushing it down so you don't even see it on mobile without scrolling down. I already have the thumbnail image in my videos, so it appears like double images in my app (see images below). From a UX perspective, it looks like a bug that needs to be fixed. While I'm ABSOLUTELY LOVING the ability to have thumbnails in the list vs. book icon (A MILLION BILLION THANK YOU'S FOR THAT!!!!), I sincerely hope Passion.io CS Team removes it from the lesson itself. Thank you for your gracious consideration!!! :)

Titus Chereches Hello my friend! Can you please take a look at this?
Titus Chereches
Nicole Mixdorf Hey! Thanks for tagging me. We're currently working on removing the lesson cover from the lesson content page. The fix will be released in about 2 weeks.

Titus Chereches: Awesome! That’s great news. Thank you Titus! 🙌🏽

I totally agree! Having the thumbnail appear above the video inside the lesson makes no sense. I already have the thumbnail set within the video itself. Now it's showing double images... the thumbnail image above the video with the same thumbnail. Please fix this, thanks! :)
