Rather than Dropdown boxed, can there be an option for more aesthetically pleasing options such as drop carousels or widget albums/pictures and titles

This is AWESOME!!!!!!!! Do we need to do anything to make this happen on our apps or will they all be switching over automatically?

Matthias Bellmann: Hi!! Thanks for this update. I see it on my end!
Is it possible to have the option to expand the netflix-style scrolling to be up and down? Perhaps with a "See All" or a "+"
I have 25-30 lessons in one category so scrolling from left-to right for 25-30 items is a little tiring for the thumb. So if there could be an option for an expanded view that shows these thumbnails in an up-and-down format thatd be nice.

Maggie Escobedo: Thanks for the update. Do you have any images you can share about what it will look like? I’m launching an affiliate program in the next 2 weeks and would love to show them what’s coming if this feature hasn’t been delivered yet. 🙏🏽
Maggie Escobedo
Nicole Mixdorf: Hi Nicole! Of course, I'm attaching some images of how this will look like for you!
Your end-users will have a very similar view, but without some buttons and icons (that allow you to create/edit your content and identify its type)
Hope this helps!
Nicole Mixdorf
Maggie Escobedo: Thank you! This looks great! I’m really excited for this update. 🎉 When do you expect it to be released?
Nicole Mixdorf
Maggie Escobedo: Hi there! Can you give us an update on the expected release date for this feature? SOOOO excited!!
Maggie Escobedo
Nicole Mixdorf: Hi Nicole! Thanks for reaching out!
We aim to release this feature by the end of June! I'll change the status of this post as soon as it is available

To clarify - I was just on the live Q&A with Dan and he's indicated that this will be done on the lesson level and NOT on the courses tab. Please consider doing this on the courses tab. Those of us with lots of courses would really appreciate it.

Alex G: same situation
100% agree
Nicole Mixdorf
Maggie Escobedo I agree with Alex that having the Netflix style layout on the courses level is the way to go, rather than only at the lesson level. Having a beautiful grid will take everyone's app and user experience to the next level. Can't wait for this!!!!

Alex G: agreed!

Maggie Escobedo shoot! We were really looking forward to this but misunderstood that it was for lessons and not the course page itself. Hoping you'll adding that soon as well. The never ending scroll feature with no categories, is not the best for user experience.

Maggie Escobedo: Hi Maggie, do you have an estimated timeline for your team to start working on this? I am eager to get rid of the drab gray "book" icon that was added into the list of classes and replace it with a much more attractive Netflix-style thumbnail layout that scroll across.
Passion Annette
Nicole Mixdorf: Hi Nicole, we are aiming to release this around March-April.
Nicole Mixdorf
Passion Annette: That’s brilliant!! BEST NEWS!!! 🎉 I’m launching in March so I hope it’s ready for that!!! 🙏🏽
Nicole Mixdorf
Passion Annette: Hi Annette! I wanted to see if you are still on track to deliver this March-April. We have thousands of users from our corporate clients getting ready to join our app, and I REALLY want to get rid of the book icon!!! Kindly let me know how things are progressing.
Titus Chereches
Nicole Mixdorf: Yes, everything's on track. It's going to be more toward the end of April, but we'll keep you posted. We're also very excited about it!
Nicole Mixdorf
Titus Chereches: Hey Titus!! Are you guys on track to deliver this at the end of April? I'm planning out my public app launch party and would love to do it after this new feature rolls out! :)
Titus Chereches
Hey Nicole Mixdorf! We're currently working on releasing the ability to deep link inside the app and manage courses on your mobile device and this is a pre-requisite for Netflix-style lessons. We've already started working on it, but it won't be delivered end of April unfortunately. The ones mentioned before caused some "interesting challenges" that needed to be addressed.
I would say the timeline would extend by 1 more month.
Nicole Mixdorf
Titus Chereches: Thank you so much for that update Titus! It really makes a huge difference to keep us updated about the timelines, as we are making important business decisions based on them. I'm excited about all the updates that are coming! I've landed on June 10th for my big public App Launch Party date. WOO HOO! I'm keeping fingers crossed that the new layout will be ready by then. Keep us posted! :)
Titus Chereches
Nicole Mixdorf: I'm glad it helps. :)
Whenever you have a question reg. timeline, priorities (or any other question), feel free to reach out to us, either via Canny or email me directly - titus@passion.io.
Nicole Mixdorf
Titus Chereches: Hey Titus! Do you have any screenshots to share of what we have to look forward to?

i love this idea :) it would also increase conversions because clients will see what they will be getting. right now it's drop down and the content is blurred out so it's hard to see what people are getting which makes people not convert.

Merged in a post:
Carusel for courses and for modules.

It would be more user friendly to can just slide between the courses/programs, and between the lessons from one course. I attach exemples.

Maggie Escobedo: Yay! I’m so happy this is under review. Having the courses laid out with image icons is a GAME CHANGER for us! So many of us have a video library of fitness classes, and the current drop down list with text-only does a poor job of illustrating what the lesson is. Having a Netflix-style layout will take this app to the next level in terms of user experience and engagement. Thank you!! 🙏🏽

Maggie Escobedo: agree. Spliting categories such as nutrition, abs , cardio , miscle building etc would allow to build different level etc without being lost in navigation
