Just wondering if it's possible to set up a notification with Passion Messaging for ALL app users with access to certain Passion Products regardless of when they've last opened the app or completed a course

Matthias Bellmann Sara Miteva there's a bug when I'm tapping into a notification sent by @channel that I cannot hit "back" and explore the rest of the app. The rest of the app is frozen and after opening the notification, I have to force-close the app.

Sara Miteva: It's working now! But, is it possible to notify people without having to tag @channel. Or somehow "hiding" the @channel text in the notification? I wanted to make cute daily reminders and having the channel tag show up in the notification takes away from the reminder..

Or is this already on, so right now if I tag a user in a community post they will get a push notification to their phone?

@Everyone. Currently you get:
- push automations in "PassionMessaging" to nudge your users to purchase your plan or use your app / content if they haven't in a certain time
- you can use community with mention/tagging eg @channel @user to send push notifications to upsell into other plans, announce new content, engage/chat with your groups + users.
Mid-year
- drip will be enhanced with push so that if you automatically drip content, a push notification is sent to your user that new content is available (you can already do that via mentioning, but not automated) -->
- scheduling push notifications will come so that you can set up automated push messages when you want to eg. push your users to to a routine every day at a certain time.
As this topic here includes ALL push notifications use cases, I will split it for the time being and complete the part that is done.

Matthias Bellmann: you mentioned tagging a channel - is that similar to how you can tag @everyone ? And they're all notified of something in that moment regardless of when they last accessed a lesson/the app?

Matthias Bellmann: thanks for the info. Just to clarify, does this mean if we do an @ everyone or @ user in the communities, they will get a push notification on their phone immediately?
And if that is the case, is it currently active as is, or do we have to update the app version?

Would love if there was an auto-notification of when you upload new content to the app so users know there's something new to check out. Adding Zapier is an additional cost that I could really do without - would be great if this was just part of the app's ability!

I would love to be able to send notifications to my clients to either remind them of their progress or to check up on them and direct them directly to a form to fill. Even automations of some sort for a weekly check in.

Just posting an update here as well in case anyone has missed this. We have started Beta testing the Community Push Notifications. A small test group, that consists of some of our Ultimate PLUS members, are currently testing the feature and giving us feedback to improve it. Our product team is fully focused on delivering this feature, and we have plans to roll it out to everyone in the future.

Passion Annette: My 2 cents to put "Community Push Notifications" in perspective.
"Community Push Notifications" expand our existing push notification functionality. So far you could schedule automations to trigger engagement based on certain actions that have been completed / not completed, eg. user registered, but hasn't purchased.
Now, with "Community Push Notifications", you can tag/mention users and channels which will trigger push notifications. You can not just chat 1:1 or engage in your groups/channels and nudging people instantaneously with push, but also promote new content, events, daily routines / habits.
This gives you an all new opportunity to trigger engagement and monetize better.

- Will we be able to schedule notifications in advance? If so, how far out and/or what limitations will we have?
- Will the notification be linked to certain parts of the app once clicked? Example: if I send a notification about a new lesson being dripped out, would my users be able to click on the notification and be taken to the new lesson?

We call it „scheduling messages“ and „in-app deep-linking“.

Can this feature be prioritized. We are using our app for a community initiative and want to send daily accountability via push notification to our community. Right now there is no way to ensure everyone gets the message or that they get it the same day we enter it.
We've also built passion apps for a number of our clients that also want to send daily push notifications to their community. Is there a way to combine the community and push notification functionality so we can limit the audience by community, but ensure everyone in the community gets the notification when we enter it, or being able to schedule them would be even better.

If you want to send a message to eg community A, just go there and type: @channel: this is my message”.
Be aware that you have to have your native apps live with push set up properly.

Hi team - why hasn't this been moved to in progress? We have just built a test app, and now want to roll out apps to our clients - but this is making the platform unusable for them. Can someone from the team please let me know else we're going to have to cancel the upcoming project.
